Latte Stone Review is an independent editorial site about Chamorro life in the round. It covers the culture, language and values of the Chamorro people of Guam and the Northern Marianas, the community organisations and services that hold the diaspora together in the United States, and the annual calendar of island and mainland events.
The site is edited by The Latte Stone Review editorial team. It is not the voice of any organisation. It names no person who is not named in a public source. It sells nothing.
How the articles are written
Every text is written in the third person from public sources. Each article names those sources. When a fact is not in a public source, it is left out. When a limit is known, the limit is stated in the article.
The site reports on organisations in the third person. It does not speak for them. It does not carry statements that cannot be checked against a public source.
Who it is for
The site is for Chamorro readers on Guam, in the Northern Marianas and in the United States mainland. It is also for partners and relatives in mixed households, and for students, nurses, social workers and researchers who need the subject explained in plain English.
